How long should I stay on the HCG Diet?
The minimum number of days required on the HCG Diet is 23 days. The maximum number of days is 43 days.

Day 3 to day 23 or day 40: The HCG Diet Phase 2, also known as the 500 calorie diet. The shorter round takes 23 days while the longer round takes 40 days.
The HCG Diet exit day last for 3 days when you will no longer have your hcg shots but you still follow the 500 calorie diet. On Phase 3 of the HCG Diet, also known as the Maintenance Phase that lasts for 3 weeks, your body will re-adjust slowly to your regular diet. You will slowly reintroduce carbs and sugars into your body. Do not do the HCG Phases longer than the recommended period.

There are food restrictions that you must follow on each phase of the HCG diet. You can only eat the HCG diet approved foods and use only the HCG Diet approved spices to help you get back in shape. Do not substitute or deviate any of the allowed foods.
Can I wear make-up and use lotions on Phase 2 of the HCG Diet?
Yes. You can but use only powdered mineral makeup as well as lipstick and eye shadows. Do not use makeup that has oil in it or cream. Avoid using lotions too. You can use mineral oil occasionally or an aloe Vera gel.
