How to do An Apple Day on the HCG Diet?
An HCG Diet Apple Day is the most common plateau busters. It’s what you need to overcome the hurdle as you lost weight. Yes, your body can naturally correct a plateau but an Apple Day can speed up the process.
Keep in mind these rules when doing Apple Day:
- Do an Apple Day only if you have hit a plateau of 4 to 6 days. A weight-loss plateau or stall happens when you have not lost or gained any weight for a couple of days. Now, if you have gained weight, it’s time for you to look back into your meals and the ingredients you are using. If you are using too little or too many calories and have gained weight, an Apple Day is not necessary for this situation.
- If your weight has stalled only for a day or two, don’t panic and jump straight away in eating 6 apples. The fruits will only overload your system with sugars and carbs and can end you up with additional weight. Apples contain a lot of fluids, sugar, and fiber. One apple contains an average of 95 calories that will help you stay full throughout the day.
- You can drink water but you can do so only if you feel an uncomfortable thirst. Apples contain lots of water so you won’t be dehydrating yourself during an apple day. Therefore, you cannot drink the same amount of water you have had previous days. Doing so will allow your body to take on extra water weight which can further halt your weight loss progress.
- Do not do apple day in a row. If you find yourself frequently stalling, you need to look at what are you doing to see if what went wrong. If this plateau breaker does not work for you for some reason, you need to eat normally for one day and do another plateau breaker in between. An Apple Day Menu
